This page contains information on how to get Gible in Pokemon Shining Pearl.
Pokemon with a base stat total of 600 are commonly known as pseudo-legendary Pokemon. Most themes are in the dragon category, but some Pokemon are an exception, such as the famous Garchomp. For players to obtain the Pokemon for themselves, they must first be able to capture Gible.
Gible is a Pokemon of the dragon type, making them resistant to some elements such as fire, grass, and water. However, they are inferior to Fairy and Dragon types as well as Ice-type Pokemon. Being able to capture Gible will need players to have several gym badges. The badges are only available to players who have progressed in the game’s storyline.

How to Catch Gible
Before players proceed to catch Gible, they need several items:
- HMO4 Strength
- HMO3 Surf
- Mine Badge
How to Get HMO4 Strength
To obtain HMO4, players should head to the Lost Tower located on Route 209. The route is found South of Soleceonon town. At the top of the town, two elders will give players a cleanse tag together with HMO4 Strength. However, the HMO4 cannot be used during combat until the player obtains the Relic Badge.
How to Get HMO3 Surf
For players to obtain HMO3, they first need to help Cynthia’s grandmother, who resides in Celeste City.
After players have gotten the Relic Badge from Fantina in Hearthome City, the game will proceed to the next gym in Canalvine City. In order to reach the city, players will have to use the HMO3 Surf to pass through Route 218.

When players reach Canalvine, they will be able to do the gym challenge and face Byron. Since his Pokemon levels are between 35 to 39, it is advisable to bring Fire or Fighting-type and avoid bringing Ice-type.
Additionally, you can stop by several Pokemarts to purchase quick, dark, and ultra balls. It is also advisable to have a Pokemon that can inflict non-damaging impacts such as sleep and paralysis.
Gible Location: How to Find Gible in the Wayward Cave
After securing the necessary items, it is time to head to the Wayward Cave, where Gible resides. When using route 206, under the cycling road, there are two entrances to the cave.
Use the left entrance instead of the correct entrance. The hidden entrance is found next to the rock walls under the cycling road. You can use your Pokemon’s strength to aid you in moving the large boulders and begin the search for Gible.
Gible is one of the rarest Pokemon and is hard to capture. Moreover, there is a likelihood that the Pokemon will be weaker than the Pokemon in the party. Therefore it is wise to come with a Pokemon between levels 19 and 20.
Players can also use quick balls and dark balls to make it easy to capture Gible. Suppose the balls are not in your inventory; you can opt to weaken them first by inflicting status ailments before throwing an ultra ball.
Finding Gible in the Grand Underground
Players who have no issue in being patient to add Gible to their team can obtain one, the Grand Underground. The Pokemon will spawn inside the Fountainspring Cave and Still Water Cavern. The Gible can only spawn when players have gathered the 7 gym badges. Hence they have to defeat Candice of Snowpoint City.
The Grand Underground has some limitations that make the game a bit difficult for players. The more powerful Pokemon like Ralts are renowned for being rare in the underground. This means that players will be spending a lot of time in and out of a unique hideaway that will be able to trigger a rare Pokemon. Luckily, Gible is not a rare Pokemon.
